What’s so special about Brevard County? Rockets launch from our backyard! Pretty cool, right? I have seen hundreds of launches since our family moved here in the early 80’s. My first launch was the space shuttle STS-4. My father had gotten passes for us to watch from the NASA Cswy. The roadway was packed with thousands of people to watch the launch. Of course, the shuttle no longer is in use…but we do have 3 other launches to enjoy.
SpaceX will resume launching the Falcon here on 2017.
ULA launches the Delta and Atlas rocket.
