If you are planning a move, then you need a moving company. In this edition of Meet my Network, I would like to introduce to you Tropic Moving. They are a locally owned and operated company that has their headquarters in Merritt Island Florida. This makes sense since the owner, Daniel Mocerino, grew up on Merritt Island. Daniel actually got into the moving and storage industry while attending college at the University of South Florida. He probably did not realize that was the starting point of his after college career.
What I like about Tropic Moving is the quality of service. They like to come by your home or business to see what is being moved to provide an accurate quote. They are a local company, not an oversized franchise. They live in the community they serve. They can help you move from one home to another (kind of expected from a moving company 🙂 If you are a DIY’er, they can help you load your own truck. (muscle for hire) Business owners can call on Tropic Moving for an office move or to get equipment into their facility. Tropic Moving will also help remove unwanted items from your home to be taken to a donation facility or simply needs to be disposed of.
Examples of what I thought were unique moves that Tropic Moving had helped with. The end of May 2018 the Cocoa Beach library had a broken pipe that flooded the building. They called Tropic Moving to help move the books, furniture, and equipment to allow them to dry out the place. My intro to Tropic Moving was through (of all places) Instagram. https://www.instagram.com/tropicmoving/ I started seeing his posts about some of the moves he was doing and some great tips on a better moving experience. I knew I needed to connect with Daniel to learn more about him. He showed up at one of my BNI Beeliner’s weekly networking event, grabbed a cup of coffee, and knew he could be a good fit for my network. He has since helped several of my customers and joined our BNI chapter.
