There are restrooms and showers. Pelican Beach Park also has a farmers market every Thursday from 10-4. Pelican Beach Park has a full calendar of activities for you to enjoy. Besides being that close to the beach, you also have some great amenities in the community and nearby. Head west on Desoto Parkway until you come to Jamaica Blvd. A few blocks south you will find a skate park, a dog park, and the cities library. You are also near a baseball field and soccer fields too.
So, what else is nearby? You have Publix, Walmart & Winn Dixie. You also have some great restaurants and specialty shops like the Green Turtle Market https://greenturtlemarket.com/ . You have the Eau Gallie Yacht Club, Oars & Paddles Park and the Telemar Bay Marina. Do you like a game of tennis? You can choose to play at either the Satellite Beach tennis courts or join the Kiwi Tennis Club. If you like to run or ride your bike, head over to Mather’s Bridge on Sunday mornings and run south Tropical Trail to the Pineda Causeway. (The Space Coast Runners usually have water & Gatorade set up around the 3-mile mark) All of this is within 3 miles of the Amherst Gardens subdivision.
