The Challenge course was designed by Arnold Palmer and will challenge even the best of players. The course plays through marshlands, canals, lakes, and an active bird and wildlife sanctuary. The good news is that you do not have to have a membership to live on the Suntree Country Club Golf Course. Even better news, because of the size of all 36 holes & fairways, you have a lot of options to choose from. Single family homes built in the late 1970s to early 2000s range in size from 1600SqFt to over 6000Sqft. Townhomes are the other option that were built between the early 1980s to mid 1990s. Custom homes that were built in the 1990s to early 2000s ranging from 4000SqFt to 7000SqFt are not uncommon. Yes, there are homes in the 1600 to 3000SqFt size too. When playing at Duran Golf Club, golfers will find a layout with links-style characteristics, presenting wide driving areas, native grasses, and mild mounding around large, undulating greens. The award winning course is very playable for those who navigate their way around the course’s subtle challenges. Besides the 18 hole course, Durans also has a par 3, 9 hole course called Chipper’s Walk that is fully luminated offering the opportunity to play later in the day. Large estate style homes surround the Duran Golf course. Wyndham Estates have homes from 3500 SqFt to over 8000 SqFt. The other communities on the Duran golf course start at 2100SqFt and go up from there. Homes in West Viera are newer. The first homes built around the Durans Golf Course happened in 2006 and they are still building in the area today.
