Is The Brevard County Housing Market Finally Stabilizing?

We are wrapping up the summer selling season and getting close to the 4th quarter of 2026. There are definitely some patterns in our housing market that have emerged, along with a few surprises.
Our active inventory continues to trend down. We ended August with 4,157 properties on the market. This is a 12% decline since January and 20% lower than August 2025. This number continues to move closer to what we were seeing in 2018 and 2019.
