There are some great communities in North Merritt Island. Take Citrus River Groves for example. This community is located north of the Barge Canal just off North Tropical Trail. There are almost 100 homes in the subdivision and all of them are on at least a half acre lot. Most of the homes were built in the 1980’s and 1990’s with a few of them built after 2000. The 8 homes on the east side Deanna Court have an added bonus of being on a little waterway that runs through the backside of their property. The water is non-navigable and is about 10 feet wide at any given point. What I have noticed is the assortment of wildlife that is attracted to the backyards of these homes. You have turtles and fish in the water. You have a variety of waterfowl and other birds that are attracted to the water and the scrub that is along the east bank of the water. These homes all have land on the east side of the water which provides added privacy to the back of the home.

Upstairs are the two guest bedrooms. Both rooms are good size (13 x 12.10) and both have exceptionally large walk-in closets. Between the two bedrooms is a Jack and Jill style bathroom with shower.

You have easy access to the mainland by heading west on 528, 520, the 404 or the 405. Merritt Island offers a large variety of restaurants, either the popular chain restaurants or someone of a kind mom & pop places to eat. The Space Center is close and easy to get to.
