There are some great communities in North Merritt Island. Take Citrus River Groves for example. This community is located north of the Barge Canal just off North Tropical Trail. There are almost 100 homes in the subdivision and all of them are on at least a half acre lot. Most of the homes were built in the 1980’s and 1990’s with a few of them built after 2000. The 8 homes on the east side Deanna Court have an added bonus of being on a little waterway that runs through the backside of their property. The water is non-navigable and is about 10 feet wide at any given point. What I have noticed is the assortment of wildlife that is attracted to the backyards of these homes. You have turtles and fish in the water. You have a variety of waterfowl and other birds that are attracted to the water and the scrub that is along the east bank of the water. These homes all have land on the east side of the water which provides added privacy to the back of the home.
Since there are only 8 properties in Citrus River Groves that have this benefit, when one of them goes on the market for sale; there is always a high demand to see that Merritt Island home. 4530 Deanna Ct just came on the market. Besides the great lot location, this well cared for property has some great features to point out.
Your home is your castle, let’s start with the master bedroom. The master bedroom is on the ground floor and offers plenty of space for a king size bed and other furnishings. The room measures 18 x 15.11 has a window on the east side overlooking your pool. The master bath has dual vanities, a step in shower and jetted tub to relax in.
Hardwood floors are in the living and dining room. Your living room comes with a built-in entertainment center and expansive windows overlooking the pool. The high ceilings make this large room (21 x 14) seem even bigger.
The center of every home is the kitchen. The command center. You want an open space that is easy to navigate, offers plenty of storage, plenty of counter space to work all while offering easy access to the dining room, the breakfast nook and the screened in pool area. This kitchen and its layout will not disappoint you. There is even a built-in work area just off the kitchen to help keep things organized.
Upstairs are the two guest bedrooms. Both rooms are good size (13 x 12.10) and both have exceptionally large walk-in closets. Between the two bedrooms is a Jack and Jill style bathroom with shower.
What else does this Merritt Island pool home have to offer? Besides having the three bedrooms, the home also has three full baths (two of the baths are on the ground floor) There is also a 14 x 16 room on the ground floor that could be an executive office, a game room, a theater, or formal living room. The laundry room has cabinets and lots of storage (its 11 feet long!)
Then there is the garage. Pulling up to the front of the home, it is obvious the home has a 2 car garage. This is a very large, oversized 2 car garage. Besides having ample space to park your vehicles, you have space on either side of the garage for storage. There is even space between your cars. This oversized 2 car garage even has enough space for a workshop on the back wall. It’s is huge. What is even more amazing is the third garage stall. Yes, this home has a 3 car garage. Off the main driveway, there is access to the south side of the home that brings you to a single car garage door. This garage is set up to be a workspace. The floor is tiled. There is a separate air conditioner for this area. If your car is your baby and you want to keep her in a controlled environment, this is that space. OR, if you want to have an office outside of the main home, this is that space. There is a lot you can do with this 3rd garage bay because it is separated from the other 2 garages AND it is under air!
This is Florida and it does get hot. I mentioned a few times about this being a pool home. It is time to dive in. This isn’t a tiny pool. This is one large enough for a quite few people to enjoy at once. Perfect to cool off in during the day. Ideal to go for an evening swim, grab a float and stare up at the stars. The pool deck is a great entertaining space too. Set this up as your outdoor living area. It is screened in too. Not just any screening, but the 2020 “no see um” screens. No mosquitoes are coming in through that!
While you are lounging in the pool or hanging out on the pool deck, make sure to enjoy that view. Remember, this home is one of eight that has the advantage of privacy outback. You have a little waterway on the east side of the property and the natural Florida foliage to enjoy.
This home also has a beautiful oak whose canopy offers great shade over the yard to enjoy. I don’t know what would be better, relaxing in the pool or sitting under a good shade tree…the beauty of this home, you could do both!
