Jazzy’s Mainely Lobster Loves A Good Mural

Jazzy’s Mainely Lobster in Cocoa Beach loves a good mural and this is why they are here on #MuralMonday for the third time. They are covered with them. If you have been driving through the downtown area, you might have seen their latest transformation. The east side of the building used to have a Maine coastline mural on it. A lighthouse, fishing boats on the water, lobsters, fish, and crabs in the water…

I pulled that photo from Jazzy’s website since I did not have a photo of the east side of the building. I had been meaning to take a picture of this side of the building, but never got around to it. Then one day, it was gone! They painted over it and made it a blank slate. Looks like the east side of the building was getting an update. Of course, they called in David Rothmann to do the work. He had also created the murals on the south and west wall (the west wall is one of my favorite murals in the Cocoa Beach)

Over the last several weeks, the building has been transformed. I did not get a chance to meet David while he was doing the work but did meet James Emery who was working on some of the building details. Let me know what you think of the new look.
