Most of the murals in Cocoa Beach I have been posting have been commissioned by the business or building owner to help highlight their storefront. Most of them are either a beach scene or something relating to our tropical environment. Then there is the occasional random mural that is just that…random…some areas in the country might refer to them as graffiti…have you seen these? This first one caught my eye when we were evacuating from Hurricane Irma last year. We pulled up at the 4th St South beach crossover for one last peek at the beach before heading to the mainland.
This next one has been here for some time. I noticed it when the glass bank was getting leveled and we were all coming by to watch the show. This beauty is still standing.
Have you seen either of these murals before? Any random works of art like this I am missing? Let me know in the comments below!
